A few days ago I finished reading a wonderful book entitled “George Washington – A Life”
A client of mine recommended it to me while he was sitting in my office and looking at the titles of my American history books
Prior to reading this book I knew little about GW
He was truly a great man
Without him there would be no United States of America
Militarily he continually outsmarted the British
As President he kept the new nation on the path of individual freedom and liberty
We forget that GW, Adams, Jefferson, Hamilton, Franklin and the other founders were all committing treason
GW cried when he said good bye to his officers for the final time
Have to admit that I did too when he died
