Felonies

There are two types of criminal charges, felonies and misdemeanors. Felonies are the more serious of the two. In Arizona all felonies are classified Class 1 through Class 6. The Class 1 felony, first degree murder, is the most serious. All the other felonies are Class 2 through 6. The class of the felony determines the range of the potential punishment for the crime being charged. Prior felony convictions can increase the range of that potential punishment. In Arizona felonies are prosecuted in the Superior Court. Federal felony prosecution is based upon the United States Code and takes place in Federal District Court. This is a distinctly different system from the State court system. Being charged with a felony is a most serious matter. I have been handling felony cases for 39 Years, from First Degree Murder on down the Class ladder. I am experienced, highly motivated and successful in such cases.
